If you work in an office, find a low-traffic area, but if anyone asks, just tell them that you&rsquo;re getting into shape and you might even start a trend or competition in your office!</p>
<h3>Easiest Way to Lose Weight Quickly: Tip #6</h3>
<p><strong>Eat 5 Meals Per Day</strong> &ndash; You may have heard about this technique before, and it actually works! But, the key is that your 5 meals need to be <em>smaller</em> meals than your regular 2 or 3 meals. The science behind this theory is that your body stays busy all day long processing your last meal, so your metabolism stays high, causing you to burn more calories over the course of a day than you normally would.</p>
<p>This can sometimes be tricky, especially if you like to go out to restaurants for lunch or dinner. If you do go out, just eat smaller portions while you are there and take home the rest of your meal for later. You can still eat the same amount, but you&rsquo;ll burn more calories if you space out the meal over a few hours.</p>

<p><strong>Eat Slower, Smarter, and Don&rsquo;t Skip Breakfast</strong> &ndash; Want to know a major tip that most fitness experts won&rsquo;t tell you? <em>Up to 80% of a person&rsquo;s weight loss is due to their diet.</em> That&rsquo;s right, <strong>80%</strong>. You can do all the crunches, sit-ups, push-ups, and lunges that you can, but if you are eating fast food burgers and fries for every meal, then you are simply <em>not</em> going to lose any weight.</p>
<p>If you want to lose weight quickly, the easiest way to do it is to eat less. This doesn&rsquo;t mean starve yourself, but you need to cut back on your food intake compared to how many calories you burn. A pound is roughly 3,500 calories, so if you want to lose 2 pounds per week (about the maximum healthy weight loss rate), then you need to burn 7,000 more calories than you take in each week. This might seem like a lot, but that&rsquo;s only 1,000 fewer calories per day, or 500 fewer calories per day combined with 500 extra calories burned working out.</p>
<p>If you eat your meals slower, turn off the TV while eating, and remember to eat a light, healthy breakfast, then you are well on your way to quick and healthy weight loss! Always remember to consult your physician before starting any serious weight loss or exercise program!</p>

<h3>Exercise #1: Stationary Bike (Toning Target: Thighs and Hips)</h3>
<p>Biking is an excellent cardiovascular exercise as well as being incredibly fun and enjoyable.  When targeting your thighs and hips, focus on higher-resistance levels.  For regular bikes, this means you should find a hilly area to ride.  For stationary bikes, you can generally adjust the resistance level.</p>
<p><strong>30 minutes per workout is ideal for the stationary bike.</strong>  The higher the resistance level, the more effective the workout will be, so start low, then work your way up.</p>
<h3>Exercise #2 &ndash; Jogging, Running, Or Power Walking (Toning Target: Thighs, Hips, and Abdomen)</h3>
<p>The average person only walks about a quarter of a mile per day.  The average walking speed is about 3 miles per hour.  Ideally, you should jog at least 5-6 miles per hour if you want to target the majority of your muscle groups to lose weight quickly.</p>
<p><strong>You should walk or jog 30 minutes per day in order to hit your target of losing 30 pounds</strong>.  Keep your aim that high, but if you are unable to maintain that level of activity, it&rsquo;s perfectly okay.  <i>Any</i> level of activity is better than none.</p>
<h3>Exercise #3 &ndash; Hula Hoops (Toning Target: Abs and Hips)</h3>
<p>As strange as it may seem, hula hooping is an excellent exercise for losing weight.  You can find <a href="https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/network/build-links/text/simple-thispagelink.html?ie=UTF8&amp;assoc%5Fss%5Fref=%2Fgp%2Ftagging%2Ftag%2Fhula%20hoop">adult-sized hula hoops</a> at Amazon.com, or at your local general retail outlets.</p>
<p><strong>Hula hooping for any length of time will benefit you, but try to aim for 20 minutes of constant motion.</strong></p>
<h3>Dietary Tips for Losing 30 Pounds</h3>
<p>The most important thing to remember in order to lose weight quickly is that you must <strong>consume less Calories than you burn each day</strong>!  A pound of weight is roughly equivalent to 3500 Calories, so if you want to lose 30 pounds, then you need to lose a net amount of <strong>30 * 3500 = 105,000</strong> Calories.</p>
<p>This might seem like a lot, but if you were able to lose an average of 1,000 Calories per day, then it would take you about 100 days to lose 30 pounds.  That&rsquo;s only a little over 3 months, and is a very reasonable and healthy pace for that amount of weight loss.  If you attempt to lose the weight faster than that, and you&rsquo;re liable to end up gaining it all back and them some.</p>

<h3>What Diet Works for a Slimmer Stomach?</h3>
<p>Truthfully, almost any diet will probably work to make you drop several pounds in a short amount of time. The problem, however, is keeping the weight off so that you don&rsquo;t balloon back up to your previous weight (or past it!).</p>
<p>The most important thing to remember is that you need to consume fewer calories per day than you burn. There are plenty of calorie calculators available online for free, but some simple math and glancing at the packaging for your food will usually tell you what you need to know. &nbsp;If you consume 3500 calories less than you burn, then you&rsquo;ll lose about a pound. &nbsp;A safe weight loss target is 2-3 pounds per week, but this will require quite a bit of exercise to maintain during your weight loss period.</p>

If you want to lose your beer gut that you spent so much time building, then there are a few key steps you need to take in order to get a firm stomach again.</p>

<h3>Step 1 for Beer Gut Reduction &ndash; Eat Less&hellip; or at Least&hellip; Eat Better</h3>
<p>A lot of &ldquo;how to&rdquo; articles dealing with beer bellies tend to recommend drinking less beer. While this method can certainly work, it really should only be a last resort. Beer is a terrible thing to waste, so continue to drink it if you wish, although moderation is always key (in all things).</p>
<p>You do want to cut back on certain types of foods, though.&nbsp; Remember that beer is basically just carbohydrates and water.&nbsp; So, if you want to maintain a health diet while still drinking beer, you need to cut back on your carb intake.&nbsp; This includes potato chips, pizza, bread, and most snack foods.&nbsp; Anything containing sugar should be mostly cut out of your diet.&nbsp; Fruits are generally okay, just don&rsquo;t overdo it.</p>

<h3>Step 2 to Lose Your Beer Gut &ndash; Start Exercising</h3>
<p>This seems much tougher than it really is.&nbsp; What you need to do is find some activity that gets your heart pumping faster and start doing it on a regular basis.&nbsp; This could be jogging, going to the gym, playing a sport, or taking a bicycle ride.&nbsp; The most important thing is that you need to do this <strong>regularly.</strong></p>
<p>This is probably the hardest part of any fitness or weight loss program.&nbsp; Most people get really motivated for a few days or weeks, but then they fall off the bandwagon because the routine they chose just doesn&rsquo;t interest them.&nbsp; I&rsquo;ve been a victim of this myself plenty of times.&nbsp; While I feel like I can outrun most of my friends in a distance race, I really hate running.&nbsp; So, choose something that you will find entertaining, and do it for about 30 minutes per day, 3 to 4 times per week.</p>
<h3>Step 3 for Losing a Beer Gut &ndash; Situps or Crunches</h3>
<p>While doing situps alone won&rsquo;t help you lose a beer gut fast, they will definitely aid in the process of tightening your abdominal muscles.&nbsp; Your overall goal should be not only to lose the fat covering your muscles but also to strengthen your muscles.&nbsp; Simply having more muscles on your body will force your body to burn more calories, even when sitting still.&nbsp; Muscle consumes more energy to maintain than fat, so having strong leg and arm muscles will also help you burn off the fat that&rsquo;s living so well in your beer gut.</p>
<h3>Step 4 to Destroy that Beer Belly &ndash; Track Your Progress</h3>
<p>This can be done with a simple piece of paper, but you may also want to consider starting a spreadsheet to track your weight and overall progress.&nbsp; Make a daily log listing all of your activities for that day, as well as what you eat for every meal and snack.&nbsp; Next to that, jot down your current weight.&nbsp; You should weigh yourself every day at the same time and when wearing the same clothes (I&rsquo;ve found that the morning is the best for me).</p>
<p>Once you&rsquo;ve tracked your statistics for about 3 weeks, you should notice a trend downward in your weight.&nbsp; If you don&rsquo;t, then you need to adjust your routine.&nbsp; Either increase your activity, or decrease your food intake.&nbsp; Remember, decrease your beer intake as a last resort only!</p>
<p>Another good thing to track if you happen to own a belt is which belt notch you are using each day.&nbsp; In some cases, you might be building more muscle than burning fat, so your weight may actually go up.&nbsp; As long as your waistline is getting smaller, this is a good thing!&nbsp; Achieving a firm abdomen should be your ultimate goal, not simply the weight loss.</p>
<h3>Step 5 to a Thinner Gut &ndash; Keep to the Program!</h3>
<p>If you aren&rsquo;t seeing measurable progress within a couple of weeks, the worst thing you can do is give up.&nbsp; You might be building muscle in your legs, but your waist hasn&rsquo;t started shrinking yet.&nbsp; As long as you maintain or increase your activity level, you are bound to lose the beer gut eventually.&nbsp; Everyone has a different metabolism, so you may just need to work a little bit harder in order to start seeing results.</p>

<h3>Food #1: Well-Cooked Beef</h3>
<p>One of the best foods to eat while pregnant, oddly enough, is lean-cut beef. Make sure the meat is well done (medium-well at the very least) because beef can contain harmful bacteria. Fully cooking the meat will greatly reduce any risk involved.</p>
<p>Eating beef during pregnancy helps primarily because of the vitamins and nutrients found in beef are easily digestible and will make their way from your body to your baby&rsquo;s. So, if you get a craving for a thicky, juicy steak, it&rsquo;s perfectly acceptable to endulge.</p>

<h3>Food #2: Fruits</h3>
<p>Berries, apples, oranges, and just about every other fruit are <strong>loaded</strong> with vitamins and minerals that are perfect for your nutrition. Eating fruits while you&rsquo;re pregnant is highly recommended by all of the experts. The nutrients in fruit will help your baby to thrive and develop his or her cognitive abilities while in the womb.</p>
<h3>Food #3: Milk, Juice, and Water</h3>
<p>Drinking pasteurized milk while pregnant is perfectly acceptable and actually recommended. You should drink at least 8 glasses of water, juice, or milk per day during pregnancy. This ensures that yourself and your baby are fully hydrated, and the milk and juice are another great source for vitamins and other nutrients that your body needs.</p>
<p>Be careful not to <strong>overhydrate</strong>, though, as that can lead to its own set of negative circumstances.</p>
<h3>Food #4: Vegetables</h3>
<p>Another one of the best foods to eat while pregnant are vegetables. In particular, <strong>broccoli</strong> is an excellent vegetable due to recent studies showing that the vitamins it contains assist with healthy vision.</p>
<p>At this time, there are no vegetables that have been proven to be unhealthy for your growing child. The only thing you need to be careful with is that they are thoroughly rinsed to minimize the risk of harmful bacteria. Its best if you can pasteurize your vegetables yourself, which entails cooking them at 187 degrees Fahrenheit, though completely rinsed raw vegetables are generally okay.</p>
<h3>Food #5: Whole Grain Pasta, or Other Whole Grains (Breads, Cereal, Oatmeal, etc&hellip;)</h3>
<p>The U.S. Department of Agriculture recommends that you eat at least 6 servings of grains during pregnancy. Whole grain foods are typically enriched with folic acid and other vitamins that your body needs when you&rsquo;re pregnant. You need a lot more energy since you&rsquo;re eating for two (or more?), so don&rsquo;t be afraid to have an extra helping of spaghetti.</p>

<strong>Pollution</strong> &ndash; Many water sources are polluted by local industry, and this pollutants can make their way into fish. These pollutants are then transmitted to your baby during pregnancy.</li>

Your body is undergoing hormonal changes, and bacteria are more likely to make their way into your baby&rsquo;s bloodstream before your antibodies have a chance to attack them.</p>
<p>Bacteria can be killed by <strong>making sure your poultry and beef are thoroughly cooked</strong>. Always order your meals either well done or medium-well. You don&rsquo;t want the bacteria from the local chicken farm making its way into your womb during pregnancy.</p>

<p>Dairy products are generally fine, but <strong>all dairy products must be pasteurized</strong>! Otherwise, the same bacteria that was in your undercooked meat can be transmitted through the dairy milk. Some cheeses in particular to avoid while pregnant (unless otherwise labeled):</p>
<ul>
<li>Feta</li>
<li>Camembert</li>
<li>Blue Cheese</li>
<li>Queso dips</li>
</ul>
<h3>#4 &ndash; Caffeinated Drinks</h3>
<p>Caffeine, while technically not a food, is present in most soft drinks and coffee. Drinking caffeine while pregnant is hazardous to your future child because it raises your baby&rsquo;s heart rate to unnaturally levels.</p>
<p>Some studies have contradicted these results, but it&rsquo;s very difficult to do testing on this subject. No one should be willing to endanger their child for a cup of coffee. It&rsquo;s best to eliminate your caffeine intake during pregnancy.</p>

<h3>#1 &ndash; Jogging Or Power Walking (Toning Target: Thighs And Hips)</h3>
<p>This is a no-brainer. The average woman walks far less every day than she should in order to maintain a healthy figure. A typical walking speed is 3-4 miles per hour. You should aim for at least 5-6 miles per hour in order to tone your thighs in the least amount of time. Jogging will do wonders for anyone, but it&rsquo;s often difficult to jump right into a jogging program. If you&rsquo;re just starting out, stick to power walking until you no longer feel winded after 20-30 minutes worth of activity.</p>
<p><strong>Aim to go for a walk or jog every single day for at least 20 minutes.</strong> If you aim at nothing, you&rsquo;re sure to hit it, so keep you goals high, but don&rsquo;t fret too much if you miss your target.</p>
<h3>#2 &ndash; Leg Squats (Toning Target: Thighs)</h3>
<p>There are a number of ways to perform leg squats, but the simplest is to stand flat against a wall and squat down until your upper leg is parallel to the floor. Do this slowly, and then return to your full standing position. Don&rsquo;t maintain your standing or &ldquo;sitting&rdquo; position for too long, though, as you&rsquo;ll lose some of the cardiovascular benefit of the workout. This particular exercise especially targets the thighs, buttocks, and calves.</p>
<p><strong>Do 3 sets of leg squats, with each set consisting of as many as you can, and wait 5 minutes between each set</strong>. Add weights as soon as you are able, since this works to tighten your muscles faster.</p>
<h3>#3 &ndash; Regular or Stationary Bicycle (Toning Target: Thighs and Hips)</h3>
<p>Riding a bicycle is a surefire way to strengthen your leg muscles in short order. Biking is a spectacular cardio work out, and it can also be incredibly enjoyable. When toning thighs, you should focus on resistance training. This is usually easy to do on a stationary bike by simply adjusting the resistance level. If riding a regular bike, you should look for an area with lots of hills and practice there. When working to get thinner hips, you should just ride as much as possible to get the maximum cardiovascular benefits.</p>
<p><strong>Aim for 20-30 minutes per workout, at the highest resistance level you can stand for that amount of time.</strong></p>
<h3>#4 &ndash; Lunges (Toning Target: Thighs)</h3>
<p>This exercise works the best with free-weights, but it can be useful without them for beginners. To perform a lunge, stand up straight with your feet together. Keep your back completely straight, then take a big step with your left leg while bending your right knee downward. Do this slowly. Then, stand back up, and repeat with the opposite leg.<br>
<strong>Aim to do 3 sets of lunges, with each set consisting of the maximum number you can do.</strong></p>
<h3>#5 &ndash; Adductor Squeeze (Toning Target: Thighs)</h3>
<p>You&rsquo;ll need an exercise ball for this one. Place the ball between your thighs with the center of the ball just above you knees. Squeeze as tightly as you can, hold it for 10 seconds, then release.</p>
<p><strong>You should perform 3 sets of adductor squeezes, with each set consisting of the maximum number you can do.</strong></p>
<h3>#6 &ndash; Hula Hooping (Toning Target: Hips)</h3>
<p>This might seem silly, but using a hula hoop to achieve firm hips is actually one of the best exercises you can do. <p>Lie down flat on your stomach. With your left hand, grab your right ankle and stretch your leg tightly. Hold this position for at least 10 seconds, then switch legs. Repeat 10-15 times.</p>
<p><strong>Aim for 3 sets of thigh stretches.</strong></p>
<h3>#8 &ndash; Hip Twist (Toning Target: Thighs And Hips)</h3>
<p>Sit down with your legs outstretched in front of you. Take your left foot and place it to the right of your right knee. Grab your left knee and pull it directly towards your right shoulder, stretching your entire thigh in the process. Hold this position for 10-15 seconds, then repeat with the other leg. Repeat this cycle 10 times.</p>
<p>Aim for 3 sets of hip twists, spread out over you workout.</p>
