Keep Your Identity Safe With LifeLock

It also lets you know that you need to change your passwords at every website you frequent, especially your banking and email passwords.

Without an advance warning system like this, the likelihood of having your identity stolen increases. I consider this the absolute best feature of LifeLock’s service since its something that people realistically can’t do on their own.

My Favorite Feature #2 – Credit and Public Record Monitoring

The second best thing, in my opinion, that LifeLock offers is the advanced credit report, bank account, and public record monitoring of your financial data. Whenever loans are applied for or large transactions appear that may be suspicious, the service will notify the customer and take action to close down any fraudulent activity.

They will assist you with placing fraud alerts on your credit report so that your report is essentially “locked down” to prevent further credit actions from occurring. If your identity is truly stolen, they will help you repair the damage and get back to a state of normalcy very quickly. It can be very costly to repair the damage of a stolen identity, and LifeLock does a great job of helping you step-by-step to pick up the pieces.
